U.S. advisory council on human trafficking
In 2015, the United States Congress established the first U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking. Minh serves as one of eleven members in the inaugural Council. The Council advises the President's Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, and was established after many years of survivor-led advocacy.

Minh serves as Co-Principal Investigator this three-year community-based participatory research project, funded by the National Institute of Justice. The project works closely with survivors of human trafficking to conduct a process and outcomes evaluation of the SF Mayor's Task Force.
AnnieCannons is a non-profit organization that economically empowers survivors of human trafficking through software development and skills training. Minh serves as an Advisory Board member, helping to create a model and strategy centered around survivors' needs and lived experiences.
